Our founder, Dylan Phillips, a convert to Catholicism, understands the profound journey from unbelief to faith. Raised without religion and embracing atheistic views through his teens and early twenties, he underwent a transformative experience in college. Exposure to new ideas and spiritual insights first led him to non-denominational Christianity and, eventually, to the Catholic Church, where he was confirmed in 2019.

With years of experience in e-commerce, Dylan envisioned a brand that would go beyond mere transactions and have a real, positive impact on its customers’ spiritual lives. Frustrated by a market flooded with cheap, nondurable goods, he wanted Catholic Aura to stand apart by emphasizing quality and purpose. After meeting the talented artist Deacon Lawrence Klimecki in 2022, he felt inspired to bring Lawrence’s Catholic artwork to a broader audience. Though Lawrence passed unexpectedly in 2023, Catholic Aura moved forward to honor his legacy, with the generous support of his wife, who entrusted us with sharing his work.
